Our best ever GCSE results in 2012 are clear proof that King’s Norton Boys’ School is an excellent place for your son’s secondary education.  We are proud of our history as a popular and successful boys’ school, and we make no apologies for our traditional ethos. We expect boys to work hard, have high standards of behaviour, and to display respect for others in the school community. We recognise that our boys will be leaving us to go into a highly competitive world, and so we aim to instil values of resilience and independence as well as encouraging boys, whatever their ability, to achieve their academic potential. Our house system offers excellent pastoral care as well as opportunities for learning and success outside the classroom. We encourage boys to develop their talents in sports, music and drama. We have invested in our staffing so that all boys have the support they need to enjoy all aspects of school life and to feel safe. As a Head, I am really proud of the staff and all the extra hours they put in so that boys can have as many opportunities as possible, under the supervision of excellent role models. Our recent OFSTED report is validation that the school is continuing to get even better. The inspectors said that boys feel exceptionally safe, enjoy their learning and behave well.
